Als der Vorstand der Maschinenfabrik Berthold Hermle AG – kurz: Hermle – vor genau einem Jahr seine erste Einschätzung zum erwarteten Jahresverlauf für 2025 kommunizierte, sah es noch nach einem Debakel-Jahr mit Ansage aus. Immerhin befürchtet CFO Günther Beck damals Umsatzeinbußen von unter Umständen mehr als 20 Prozent sowie einen Ergebniseinbruch von mindestens 40 bis hin zu eventuell sogar 90 Prozent. Anlass der Sorgen waren damals die ungewissen Auswirkungen der US-Zollpolitik und die damit verbundenen Belastungen für die Automobilhersteller. Im Sommer 2025 verabschiedete sich der Hersteller von Fräsmaschinen dann zumindest von seinem Worst-Case-Szenario und grenzte das zu erwartende Erlösminus im unteren Bereich auf gut 15 Prozent ein. Für das EBIT (Ergebnis vor Zinsen und Steuern) war das aber immer noch gleichbedeutend mit einem Rückgang um vermutlich 40 bis 80 Prozent. ...
