September 2025 laufende Barkapitalerhöhung zu werben, durch die Intershop netto bis zu 4,3 Mio. Euro einnehmen will. Bei voller Platzierung würde sich das Aktienkapital des auf E-Commerce-Software spezialisierten Unternehmens um 30 Prozent auf 18.956.975 Euro erhöhen. Nun: Der mit 1,00 Euro am untersten Rand des rechtlich überhaupt möglichen Ausgabepreises gewählte Bezugskurs sagt bereits sehr viel über den Zustand von Intershop aus. Nach durchweg enttäuschenden Halbjahreszahlen und einem nicht enden wollenden Abnahmeprozess eines Großprojekts, was im schlimmsten Fall sogar arg an die Substanz gehen könnte, musste der damalige CEO Markus Klahn sogar seinen Hut nehmen.
