Zugegeben: Zu Beginn hat boersengefluester.de schon ein wenig gestaunt, dass IR-Manager Achim Schreck seine Präsentation auf dem Eigenkapitalforum der Deutschen Börse AG in Frankfurt damit einleitete, dass flatexDEGIRO erst seit fünf Jahren am Kapitalmarkt sei. Schließlich ist der Discountbroker de facto doch bereits seit Mitte 2009 börsennotiert. Tatsächlich ist 2020 aber doch ein guter Referenzpunkt, weil vor fünf Jahren, Ende Juli 2020, der Zusammenschluss von flatex und dem europäischen Broker DEGIRO finalisiert wurde und Ende Oktober 2020 dann auch das Uplisting vom Freiverkehrssegment Scale in den streng regulierten Prime Standard umgesetzt wurde.
